How to save data from wire-shark?
To save the rtp stream data from wire-shark with screen shots, please follow the steps below. i tested and worked for me.
step-1:
Open wireshark with the captured wireshark file.
sudo wireshark < file_name>
step-2:
Now select the RTP packet (click on one RTP packet) that you are going to save.
step-3:
Go to telephony in the menu bar and select RTP and click on stream analasys.
step-4:
Once step-3 done it will open a new window like below.
step-5:
From the window click on "save payload" (highlighted with color) placed at bottom left corner. see figure below.
step-6:
Once click on save payload, new window will open to ask file name and location to save the file. see figure below.
step-7:
Once giving file name and location done, click "ok" .
****************DONE*******************
your file saved successfully.....
NOTE:
It will save only payload (data - section) i.e., it will exclude rtp header.
